If your PC is under attack, suffering slow performance, locking up, or displaying error messages, we can solve your problem – and we do it remotely, online, over the Internet! If you are not happy with the results, we will refund your purchase for the full amount!
Scheduling your Service
After receiving notification of your purchase, we will contact you – by email or by phone – to schedule a service time that works for you. Before we connect, you must read and/or print out Preparing to Connect.

1. Virus Removal Service – Read our Disclaimers
Note: Additional software not included.
Our goal is to completely remove all malicious software from your computer. This is what we will do…
- Make backup copies of the computers database of settings (the Registry).
- Check for the existence of operational Anti-Virus Software or other protective software.
- Prepare for and begin the actual detection and removal processes.
- Recommend additional software if necessary (see disclaimers regarding purchase of additional software).
- Note: For a description of the optional Security Check Service, see “3. Security Check Service” below.
- Note: No cost for follow-up issues that are addressable by email.
2. Windows PC Tune-up Service – Read our Disclaimers
Viruses and other malicious software can definitely slow your computer down, but other conditions can contribute to a slow PC. The computer hardware may not be adequate to the task, low disk space, excessive build-up of temp files, conflicting software, corruption or file fragmentation in the file system, unnecessary programs and services, – these all contribute to a slow PC.
This is what we will do…
- Perform a diagnostic check/repair of the File System.
- Examine Error logs for potential issues.
- Remove any temporary files from the Operating System and Internet Browser.
- Check for conflicting Anti-malware software.
- Remove any unnecessary software applications – (Requires your input).
- Run an Internet connection speed test.
- Disable normally unneeded services.
- Perform an Operating System integrity scan.
- Perform a File Access Optimization on all Hard Drives.
- Optimize the Registry database.

3. Security Check Service – $30 Read our Disclaimers
This is an assessment and correction of your current computer security as it relates to threats from the Internet. It has nothing to do with the file security system built into Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7.
This is what we will do…
- Assess the protective software on your computer and make recommendations if needed.
- Check for the existence of operational Firewalls and reset to default values if needed.
- Update the Operating System with the latest patches and updates.
- Update any current programs that have known security risks.
- Check Browser configuration.
- Run a port test to see if there are any ports open to the Internet.
4. Software Setup – $20 Read our Disclaimers
Software Setup includes the installation and configuration of software applications, as well as configuring Windows itself. This could be anything from altering running Windows services, to editing the Registry, to changing operating parameters.
5. Error Troubleshooting: Based on estimate
Additional software not included.
Modern day Operating Systems and applications are very complex creations. With complexity comes more chance for conflicts and errors. We will need to connect to your computer and give you an estimate based on examination of computer error logs, and error messages. You may have a lot of errors, or just a few. Some may be easy to solve, or may take hours of research and trial and error to resolve. We will present you with an estimate of how much we think it will cost to troubleshoot all real errors.
We define three classes for Error Resolution…
Class 1: Relatively easy to troubleshoot and solve: $20
Class 2: Will involve some research: $40
Class 3: Involves research, consultation with vendors, trial and error etc: $100 (not to exceed $100)
Note: Not all errors may be recorded in the error logs. If you experience other error conditions or error messages from your applications, write down the error message – or take a screen-shot – and record the circumstances under which the error occurs. Then submit it to us. See our How-to section for information on how to create a screen-shot. The more details you provide; the better. We may need to connect multiple times to your computer over the course of a few days to finally come to a resolution.
